As of 23 November 2025, a total of 832 cases of mpox clade Ib (including 12 deaths), have been reported in Kenya in 2025.

Cholera

Spread through contaminated food and water

As of 17 November 2025, a total of 236 cholera cases, with six deaths, have been reported since the beginning of October 2025.

Stick to safe water and well-cooked food, wash hands often — an oral vaccine is available for higher-risk trips.

Chikungunya

Spread by mosquito bites

An outbreak of chikungunya has been reported in Mombasa County, June – July 2025. A total of 614 cases (97 confirmed) and no deaths were recorded.
