Dengue
Reported 29 July 2026Spread by mosquito bites
As of 12 July 2026, a total of 28,074 cases (38 deaths) of dengue fever have been reported in Cambodia during 2026. This represents a 58.1% increase compared to the same period in 2025.
There's a vaccine for this
Spread by daytime-biting mosquitoes. Use a DEET repellent, cover up, and stay somewhere with screens or air-conditioning.
Yellow fever

As of 28 July 2026, a total of 56 confirmed yellow fever cases, including 28 deaths, have been reported since the start of the year. This brings the total confirmed cases since 2024 to 204 (91 deaths). The Department of Tolima has reported the majority of cases.

Mpox

As of 25 May 2026, three cases of clade Ib mpox have been reported in Colombia. Previous cases reported in Colombia have reported travel history to Spain and Belgium.

Oropouche virus disease

As of 19 March 2026, a total of 21 cases of Oropouche virus disease (OROV) were reported in Colombia during 2025.

Methanol poisoning

As of 7 October 2025, a total of 89 cases of methanol poisoning have been reported in Colombia. An outbreak was reported in the city of Barranquilla, with additional cases in other departments. Please see the FCDO guidance on methanol poisoning for further details.
