As of 11 July 2026, a total of 27,145 measles cases have been reported in 2026. The substantial increase in case numbers reflects a retrospective update of cases in Guatemala and a change in case reporting.

Dengue

As of 29 November 2025, a total of 44,654 dengue cases, with six deaths, have been reported in Guatemala for 2025. Serotypes DENV-1, DENV-2 and DENV-3 have been reported.

Spread by daytime-biting mosquitoes. Use a DEET repellent, cover up, and stay somewhere with screens or air-conditioning.
